Hovie SUP developed the “Comet” race stand up paddleboard with world renowned Yacht Designer Tim Kernan of Kernan Yacht Design. Kernan designs have won major sailing regattas worldwide over the last ten years. We have an exclusive agreement to work together in the SUP world, they have created the next generation of SUP bottom design that paddle much faster with less effort then the current designs that are on the market today. The “Comet” is constructed with 100% Carbon Fiber and S-glass, Epoxy resin and an EPS foam core, weighing in at 21lbs for the 12’6” and 23 lbs for the 14'. We build custom and production models and create the perfect balanced board for a riders weight. We also have the 14' Big Boy now designed for the big guy.
