Mark Athanacio:  East Coast/FL  -Born and raised in California, lives in Naples FL.  Lifeguard for over 26 years Graduated of San Diego State University. Owned and operated a few surf, skate, and bike shops during the past 10 years.  Entered my first organized sup race in 2009 and never stopped.  My main form of work for the past 25 years has been as a personal trainer and strength coach for various athletes of which I now include myself.  I'm stoked to now be on what I consider one of the fastest boards on the market. This enables me to focus on my fitness and know that my equipment won't be a limiting factor.  --    I look forward to racing the Comet to many great results!
